Global warming is the phenomenon of increasing average air temperatures near the surface of the earth over the past two centuries. Global warming is also referred to as climate change. Earth’s climate has been changing every time since the beginning of geological time and the influence of human activities since the Industrial Revolution. It makes the change faster because of the greenhouse effect. While the greenhouse effect is a term to describe trapped carbon dioxide which causes the earth to heat. You can feel the temperature is getting hotter than in the past. The season in our earth cannot be predicted anymore and it is because of global warming. The following text will explain what makes global warming.
In detail, the global warming is caused by human activities such as industry and vehicle. There are a lot of industries or factories that use coal as the main energy to produce things. Coal has produced carbon dioxide that increases the heat of the earth. Not only coal but also fossil fuel that is used for vehicles such as car and motorcycle has produced about three-quarters of the increase in carbon dioxide from human activities over the past 20 years. Actually, plants can reduce global warming but, deforestation that is happening right now makes the plants in the earth decrease and cannot absorb all the carbon dioxide well. As a result, the earth is getting hotter every day and the polar also continues to melt as the effect of global warming.
We are as the owner of the earth and the one that causes this problem to have to be responsible for global warming. There are various things that we can do to defeat global warming. First thing first is planting at least one tree one home. We can plant a tree in front of or in the backyard of our home. Imagine, when there are 1000 people do that it means there are 1000 trees has been planted. Not only defeat global warming but also trees can make your home more comfortable.

Second, we are advised to reduce the use of the private vehicle. Like what that has been explained in the second paragraph about fuel can increase the global warming effect. Carbon dioxide is the main cause of global warming. When there are a lot of vehicles it means there will be more carbon dioxide that is produced daily. So, we better use public transportation and even walk if the destination is close.
